How to Apply

First, a few OOC notes about what we expect from you, the player.

Characters
In order to keep CrystalMUSH authentic and enjoyable, a few guidelines have been established. Your cooperation in following these is appreciated; if you have a disagreement, please discuss it with a wizard.

1. Please realize that only humanoids may submit themselves to the Heptite Guild for membership. Keep this in mind when you create your character if think your character may wish to join the Heptite Guild. The definition of humanoid is fairly strict: ie, no fangs, no vertically slit eyes, no fur, etc.
2. There will be no book crossovers, so don't describe yourself as from Darkover, with mental powers, etc.
3. Please do not call yourself a name from the Crystal Singer novels, example, do not call yourself Killashandra.
4. Minimum age requirement for acceptance into the Heptite Guild is 21 standard years. Occasionally we will accept applicants of between 18 and 21 years in exceptional circumstances.
5. Education level 3 (College) is preferred but exceptions can be considered.

Behavior Policy on CrystalMUSH
We are going to go on the assumption that people will live up to what is expected of them. :) Therefore, it is hoped that people will treat each other with dignity and respect their privacy. Due to the nature of MU*'s in general, privacy cannot be guaranteed, but snooping on another player, revealing any information about another person's real life without their permission or posting private logs without the permission of the people involved will be frowned upon.

CrystalMUSH Timeframe
CrystalMUSH is dated after the three Crystal Singer books, perhaps several hundred years after Crystal Line. However, we have *not* incorporated the changes Lars Dahl made to Guild Operations. IE, singers don't make day trips with supplied site coordinates, nor is the Guild openly recruiting candidates. This also means that Full Disclosure is still necessary, as the Ballybran symbiont is still a closely guarded Guild secret. People applying to the Heptite Guild for membership should not have knowledge of the symbiont until after disclosure.

To Apply
To apply for Heptite Guild Membership, find the Heptite Guild Reception area on Shankill Moonbase. There, you will find the Guild Programmer and Interview Terminal, where you may apply to the guild and go through an interview. The FD Terminal will list the current class schedule for Full Disclosures.
